Lee founded and built Cactus Flower Cafe in 2001. Having been born of Mexican-American parents and raised in California, she was excited about bringing fresh Mexican cuisine to Pensacola. The recipes are family recipes that she put a fresh spin on. All the taste of traditional Mexican food is here, but without the animal fat or items that are refried. She is proud to offer this food, and proud of the amazing staff that helps her day in and day out to prepare such lovely, fresh and delicious menu items! Life is good!
Joni joined Cactus Flower in 2003 and was immediately drawn to the wonderfully fresh food and wonderful customer relations. She’s owned her own businesses since the age of 17, when she owned a breakfast cafe in Eufaula, Alabama – called “The Nook.” She sold it at the age of 19 for a profit and has never looked back. A real “people” person, she’s never met a person, nor a challenge she couldn’t overcome! She loves people, business, numbers, and is good with all of them. She too is amazed at the Cactus Flower Cafe staff and is amazed at their capabilities. Life is good!
